Wild Foraging on Exmoor

Experience Overview

Learn to confidently identify, harvest and taste wild edibles in a gorgeous wooded river valley in the heart of Exmoor National Park, at Watersmeet.

What you will do

Meeting outside Watersmeet Tea Rooms, we'll start our walk learning Golden Rules of Foraging and immediately find wild edibles in front of us. You'll confidently learn up to 15 plants, tasting them on the way and learning folklore and medicinal uses! As a surprise, you'll try 2 types of local produce made from wild foraged foods. We may spot dippers, heron, buzzards, brown trout and deer! Look out for a tall blonde holding a large foraging book!
