What you will do

We will start with an overview of the history of this organic farm, its heritage of environmental protection, as well as plans for the future including rewilding, woodland creation and increased biodiversity. We will tune into the sights, sounds and smells of the surroundings. As we reach the top of the hill we will reflect on our observations and then open our awareness to the expansive views across Aylesbury Vale, from the renovated windmill at Quainton to Waddesdon Manor on the horizon. As we continue our tour of the land we will look out for wildlife and consider their perspective, from the insects pollinating the wildflowers, the scurrying wild hares and deer, or the birds eye view of red kites wheeling up above. We will conclude with a mindfulness meditation to embody the learning and deep connection that we have experienced with nature.

What's included

Coffee, tea, juice and water will be provided at the beginning and end of the walk.

What I might need

No special equipment is required other than shoes or boots suitable for walking. In winter time the fields can be muddy in which case wellies are recommended.
