Create a handmade festive woodland wreath and enjoy delicious Indian sweets and savouries. Discount on price per person available for groups of 4+

What you will do

Each workshop is a 4 hour experience where you will have the opportunity to use a mix of locally foraged materials and beautiful flora to create a stunning Christmas wreath or Wildlife Christmas wreath - perfect for attracting birds. You will then try your hand at making delicious Indian sweets and snacks to enjoy with a hot drink of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or mulled apple juice. There are gluten free and vegan options are available. Indian sweets available to make: coconut burfi, besan laddu (chickpea flour) Indian snacks we will make include spinach and onion pakoras.

Warm hat, water proof warm coat, gloves, outdoor sturdy shoes, spare shoes Wear long sleeved tops and long trousers. Recommended lots of layers. Insect repellent Bring your own outdoor cup

About the host

This event will be run by Avril, a qualified florist who has previously worked at the Secret Garden and Sunita Thakur, who has over twenty years cooking experience. Both are qualified teachers and forest school leaders.

Cancellation policy
