Travelling by mini-coach with a maximum of 16 guests, you will journey through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and visit more than 15 sites connected to the books and TV shows.Your day begins in central York with a visit to the award-winning World of James Herriot visitor attraction, the original home of All Creatures Great and Small. From there, you will explore key filming locations from the classic series, including the Drovers Arms, Darrowby Bus Stop, Darrowby Station and the place where James proposed to Helen. In Hawes, you will see Darrowby Church, the cattle market, the country club and Skeldale House.Lunch is taken at Hardraw in the pub used as the interior of the Drovers Arms in the new series. Later, you will visit the remote village that portrays the fictional Darrowby in the current adaptation. Enjoy refreshments and a short guided walk to see the exterior of the Drovers Arms, Skeldale House, local shops and many familiar locations from the show. The tour ends back in York after a day filled with scenery, storytelling and nostalgia.
