What You'll Do

Indulge in a classic British treat as you drift gently along the historic Bridgewater Canal on this leisurely afternoon tea cruise. Prepared fresh in the on-board galley, every element of your tea is made with care, offering a delicious and unhurried way to spend an afternoon on the water. Sit back, savour the scenery, and let the tranquil pace of canal life set the tone for a truly relaxing outing.

Your afternoon tea is served on an elegant tiered stand and features a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches on white and seeded bread, including favourites such as ham and tomato, mature cheddar and pickle, free range egg and cress, and tuna mayonnaise with cucumber. You will also enjoy a warming cup of homemade soup, followed by freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream. To finish, a tempting array of cakes and pastries awaits, all served with tea or filter coffee.

A special children’s afternoon tea is also available, making this a lovely experience for families. Dietary requirements including vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose free, dairy free and nut allergies can be catered for with advance notice, although personal preferences cannot be accommodated. With charming views, delicious food, and the gentle rhythm of the canal, this afternoon tea cruise offers a delightful way to unwind and enjoy a taste of tradition on the water.
