Enjoy a more challenging and rewarding 6-mile guided walk along one of the most scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path. After a short bus ride to Polmear (or a cross-country walk to Polkerris on Bank Holidays), follow rugged trails across low cliffs, cross small streams and visit the charming harbour of Polkerris.

With superb coastal views and plenty of activity on the water, this route is ideal for those who enjoy a bit more ascent and descent. As you climb higher, take in wide views across St Austell Bay towards Gribbin Head and learn about the area's strong links to Daphne du Maurier and her novels. The walk continues past Polridmouth Cove before returning to Fowey, with an optional castle visit time permitting.

Led by a friendly, knowledgeable guide who welcomes questions, this is a Coast Path Friendly event that gives £1 back to the trail. Discounts are available for PARD CARD holders and for guests arriving by public transport using the GOODJOURNEY code.
