If you do not have jewellery of your own to repurpose, James has a selection of hallmarked silver spoons ready to be transformed. You will also explore historic methods such as sand casting, used since around 1300 BC, or cast your chosen metal into a wax signet ring model hand carved by James.Lasting a relaxed morning, the workshop includes all tools, materials, and expert tuition, with the option to pause for lunch or continue working as inspiration strikes. The experience ends with a celebratory glass of wine from Wagtail Retreat’s own vineyard, giving you the perfect moment to admire your newly crafted creation.
